Our Story

One Drop Changes Everything.

"But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased." — Hebrews 13:16

Be The Drop Foundation was born from a simple, powerful conviction: that every nursing student — regardless of financial means — deserves access to the highest-quality NCLEX preparation available.

Prof. Darline Riggs, DNP MSNEd RN CNE, spent years at the bedside, in the classroom, and in test development — writing the very style of questions that appear on the NCLEX. She watched brilliant, compassionate nursing students fail the exam not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked access to the right tools and the right framework for thinking through complex clinical questions.

She knew something had to change.

Inspired by the Free Education Model

Be The Drop Foundation is inspired by the free education model: free to students, funded by givers. We accept no government funding. We charge students nothing. We are sustained entirely by the generosity of donors who believe that one nurse can change a family, one family can change a community, and one community can change the world.

Faith at the Center

Everything we do is rooted in our love for Jesus Christ and our calling to serve. We believe nursing is a sacred vocation — and that every student who walks through our doors deserves to be seen, supported, and equipped to succeed. We pray over our students. We celebrate their victories. We stand with them in the hard moments.

The Ripple Effect

A single drop of water creates a ripple that spreads further than the eye can see. One student who passes NCLEX becomes a nurse who saves lives. One nurse changes a family. One family changes a community. We exist to be that first drop — and we invite you to be one too.
