A First-of-Its-Kind Scholarship Competition
The Overcomer Challenge combines the intensity of a game show with the rigor of NCLEX preparation. Produced by Be The Drop Foundation, this faith-centered program celebrates nursing students who demonstrate excellence in clinical judgment while inspiring others on their NCLEX journey.
This educational program provides online and in-person preparation courses, seminars, and workshops for nursing students, graduate nurses, and healthcare providers in the field of nursing education and examination preparation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is eligible to compete?
Nursing students currently enrolled in accredited ADN or BSN programs. For our pilot season, we're recruiting from nursing schools in South Carolina's Upstate region. Future seasons will expand to other states.
When and where is the competition filmed?
Filming will take place in Greenville, South Carolina. Exact dates will be announced soon.
Is there a cost to apply or compete?
No! There is no cost to apply or participate. This is a scholarship competition to support nursing students.
Is this a religious program?
The Overcomer Challenge is produced by Be The Drop Foundation, a faith-based nonprofit. While our values are rooted in Christian faith, contestants of all backgrounds are welcome.
How are winners determined?
Winners are determined by their performance on NCLEX-style questions throughout five elimination rounds. All questions are validated for accuracy and fairness.
How do teams compete?
Two teams of five nursing students face off through five rounds of NCLEX-style questions. Rounds include Select-All-That-Apply rapid fire, head-to-head clinical reasoning, team collaboration challenges, and more. Points accumulate, and the winning team is crowned NCLEX Overcomers!
